"Race: Are We So Different?"

In January the Missouri History Museum and KSDK produced an exhibit entitled "Race: Are we so Different?" at the History Museum in Forest Park.  In conjunction with the exhibit, students were invited to write an essay about what they had learned from the exhibit. We are pleased to announce that a seventh grader received 1st Place in this contest.  The winner is awarded a one year membership to the History Museum and was featured on Show Me St. Louis on Tuesday March 16.  To read the essay, please click here.

Doodle 4 Google

Have you ever wondered who created the clever "Google" pictures when you go to the website?  Well, two of our students could be the next creator of the "Google" logo.
Two of our 8th graders entered a contest called "Doodle 4 Google" contest.  The theme for this contest was "If I Could Do Anything I Would...".
Entry Number 1 finished the sentence: "travel around the world."
Entry Number 2 finished the sentence: "I would make everything in our world balance out so all our problems would be resolved."

Missouri History Day State Competition

On April 10th, we had 12 seventh grade students competing in five different categories in the Nation History Day State Competition which was held in
Columbia, Mo.  We had four projects that made it to the final round.
We are excited to announce that for the first time at Holy Infant, we have two groups going to Washington, D.C. to compete.  Thank you to all the students and parents for all their hard work.  The national competition is on June 13-17th.
